Hello Kitty’s Growing Family

Hello Kitty first appeared in 1974. Since then, fans around the globe have been introduced to a host of new characters that continue to fill Hello Kitty’s world. In 1979, Hello Kitty’s grandparents greeted fans and friends. Making a huge splash, they were soon followed by other members of her family.

Papa George, always reliable and a hard worker, has a great sense of humor and can usually be counted on for a good laugh. With his ever-present pipe and glasses, he’s the classic father figure. Hello Kitty’s mother, Mary, makes sure that her whole family is well. She has a passion for cooking (she can fix the best apple pies) and loves to take care of the house so her family is comfortable.

Grandpa Anthony and Grandpa Margaret are the perfect grandparents. While grandpa knows a bit about everything and can spin great stories from memory, grandma loves to cook, taking pride in making - as far as everyone else is concerned - the best pudding ever made.

Hello Kitty also has a twin sister named Mimmy. They’re best friends, know everything about each other and spend most of their time enjoying each other’s company. Mimmy’s a bit timid and shy around people, but has a great heart and makes a fantastic friend. Adding romance to Hello Kitty’s life is Daniel, her boyfriend. They’ve been close since birth and though they’re forced to live far apart, they’re always in each others’ thoughts.

Only time will tell what the future holds for Hello Kitty and her growing family.
